TO NEW BEGINNINGS…..

I have been overthinking this entry because I wasn’t sure what qualified as a first entry. It is not often that you get to start a blog and introduce others to something that you have been dreading to start for the past year and half. With that being said, Hi and welcome.

When God gave me the idea to start this, I couldn’t do it. “What was I planning to write about? And who will be interested in reading my blog?” Those were the thoughts that kept running through my mind. But this wasn’t going to be another instruction from God I didn’t follow out of fear. So, I started. Ha! Or so I thought. One night, I went online with zero experience and impulsively paid to start a website-the very wrong site btw. I had no idea how I was going to develop the website I had just paid for. Thanks to this nice friend for directing me to the proper website and assisting me with various behind-the-scenes tasks.

Let’s backtrack, there’s this writer/youtuber that inspires me so much, Ezinne Zara (even her name is lovely), you have probably heard of her. She has a blog called Biblediaries; a blog that I really like. The layout of the blog is really nice and so are the entries. I had the following thought: “If I’m going to have a blog, it should look like that.” Not because I was jealous, but because I wanted to bypass the thousand steps she had taken to get to where she is now. Her blog began in 2017; she has even shared some stories from her journey on her youtube channel.

You know how motivational speakers always tell us that the first time we do something, and probably a dozen times after that, it won’t look great, but at least we tried? Not me, though. I prefer to start at the finish, where I have already mastered what I am about to begin, so that I do not struggle or appear crazy while starting. I am sure this is the reason I have a pile of things that I am saving to start tomorrow.

I am learning now to “START UGLY”. I couldn’t use the website until the one year period I paid for expired and I didn’t renew it. I chose to create this one for free and make it work with whatever YouTube has to offer, as well as the syetem io support line(I think those people are tired of me right now lol). There are still much to learn and a long way to go, but I am enjoying the small steps forward.

Even God, in all His wisdom, has a soft spot for little beginnings.

Job 8:7 says “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” God loves your little beginning because He has seen the end; it is great. I am rooting for you! And God is as well!!!!!!

S000000000 START!
